The LUX-VACUUM-CLEANER is the first movable, perfect functioning vacuum-cleaner
for all HO model railways (Märklin, as well as 2-rail DC).
This vacuum-cleaner has been developed especially for the removal of dust
and dirt on model railways. Dust and dirt from the circulating air and landscaping
affect the smooth operation of the precise mechanical parts (gearing, coupling
rods, axle bearing, current collector etc.). The installment of the vacuum-cleaner
in a rail car allows the trouble-free cleaning of the rail track at difficult
areas like tunnels, roofed railway stations and track systems covered by
overhead catenary.
Power for the vacuum is supplied by the normal track power. The vacuum-cleaner
can be moved by any locomotive. The car is equipped with close coupling
kinematics and NEM receiver. The Digital version is needed for Digital Layouts
since the motor speed is controlled digitally. Otherwise, motor speed would
be excessive on Digital Layouts.
